The International Cooperation and Project Office held its first Open Door event at the Institute of Chemistry, Technology, and Metallurgy. This practice will continue in the future, allowing researchers to come once a month, at a pre-scheduled time, and have informal conversations with the Office staff regarding any questions, uncertainties, and ideas related to projects and international collaboration. The aim of this initiative is to make it easier for researchers to access the information and support they need to enhance their research activities.

Dr Aleksandra Marković i dr Danijela Vidaković su još jednom posetile Norveški institutu za istraživanje voda (NIVA) u Oslu, u oktobru 2024. godine.

Tokom tronedeljnog boravka, naše koleginice su prešle sa tradicionalnih metoda identifikacije vrsta na identifikaciju hara zasnovanih na DNК analizi. Imale su priliku da analiziraju sekvence hara dobijenih nakon prve posete u aprilu. Takođe, urađena je ekstrakcija eDNК i PCR novog seta uzoraka. Dr Andreas Ballot, osmislio je sveobuhvatan program obuke i nadgledao aktivnosti naših koleginica. O rezultatima i planovima za pisanje prve publikacije razgovarano je sa dr Susanne Schneider.

Danica Savić, Junior Research Assistant at the Department of Chemistry ICTM, was given an award for the best oral presentation at the 12th Conference on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Southeast European Countries (CMAPSEEC-2024), which was held in Izmir, Turkey, from October 17 to 19, 2024.
