University of Belgrade – Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy – National Institute of the Republic of Serbia (ICTM)
By decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia number 022-892/2022 dated February 10, 2022 (published in the “Official Gazette of RS”, number 18/22 dated February 11, 2022), the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy was reaccredited for 10 years as a National Institute of the Republic of Serbia. ICTM achieved this prestigious status in 2018.

ICTM is equipped with the most modern equipment for fabrication and characterization in the mentioned fields and engages around 230 researchers, mostly chemists, physical chemists, chemical technology engineers, electrical engineers, and mechanical engineers. Around 170 researchers with PhD are employed at ICTM. All employed researchers.
The activities of the Institute take place in six specialized scientific research departments: Department of Chemistry, Department of Electrochemistry, Department of Microelectronic Technologies, Department of Catalysis and Chemical Engineering, Department of Materials and Metallurgy, and Department of Ecology and Technoeconomics.
The Institute also has two accredited centers of excellence and one accredited laboratory – Center of Excellence for Micro and Nanosystem Technologies, Center of Excellence for Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, and the Accredited Laboratory of the Department of Chemistry.
