The Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy (ICTM), , has achieved outstanding success in the first Cross-the-Gap call, which is a part of the SAIGE programm supported by the World Bank: both project proposals submitted by ICTM were selected for funding. The projects MevaDet (Mercury Vapour Detector, PI Dr. Milija Sarajlić) and WEARS (Wearable Respiration Sensor for Sports, PI Dr. Marko Spasenović) were chosen among 18 funded initiatives out of 34 submissions.

This result highlights ICTM’s innovative potential and its contribution to the development of new technologies in Serbia.
