New Project Office launched at ICTM

We are pleased to announce that a new International Research Management Office was officially opened at ICTM. An ultimate goal for launching the Office is to support our researchers in their efforts to submit and implement more high-quality research projects. Our colleagues Dragana Zlatović (Project Officer) and Katarina Milanović (Financial Coordinator) will be available for your questions.

We look forward to seeing and exchanging fruitful ideas with you in our newly equipped space at Head Office in Njegoševa 12 (room no. 12) and receive your questions and comments via e-mail: irmo@ihtm.bg.ac.rs.

The project office is financed through the BIOLAWEB project that has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101079234. The launching of the Office is also part of the ICTM Transformation Plan within the  Serbia Accelerating Innovation and Growth Entrepreneurship Project – SAIGE.

The success of our researchers - a project under the "Identities" program of the Science Fund

The Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia has published the final list of projects (in Serbian) that will be financed in the next two years under the program IDENTITIES. Within the evaluation procedure, carried out in two stages, 16 projects were selected for funding out of 160 proposals. Although the IDENTITIES program is intended to finance projects exclusively in social sciences and humanities, ICTM is proud to participate as a partner in one project: ELIPS - Environmental Identity of Primary School Students in Serbia. The lead SRO is the Institute for Pedagogical Research (PI - Milica Marušić Jablanović). In the implementation of the project, several institutions will participate: Teacher Education Faculty, University of Belgrade, ICTM, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Novi Sad, and Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade. From ICTM, our colleague Dr. Dragana Đorđević will participate in the project.

Congratulations to all the teams! We wish them a lot of success in the realization of the planned activities!

The BIOLAWEB project was presented in the newspaper Politika

BIOLAWEB - "Boosting Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy in Water Biomonitoring," the twining project was presented in the daily newspaper Politika: До здравијих језера уз помоћ Европе (politika.rs) (in Serbian). ICTM coordinates the project, and the partners are two leading European scientific institutions - The Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA) and the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and (INRAE).

Dr. Sonja Grubišić nominated as the Leader of WG2 of COST Action CA21101 COSY

As part of the goals for increasing the visibility and involvement of our Institute on the European Research Network, we are pleased to announce that dr. Sonja Grubišić was nominated in Brussels as the Leader of Working Group 2 (Molecular Motion in Confined Systems) of the COST Action CA21101 COSY: “Confined molecular systems: from a new generation of materials to the stars“ http://www.cost.eu/actions/CA21101 which has been approved in May 2022. A very good number of eminent European researchers and Professors (more than 70) have already joined WG2 of this COST Action.

This COST Action aims to provide a computationally and experimentally sound foundation for the fundamental understanding and control of confined molecular systems.
