1st BIOLAWEB Workshop: “Metabarcoding of diatoms and phytoplankton for biomonitoring”
On behalf of the BIOLAWEB consortium, we have the pleasure and honor of inviting you to the first workshop “Metabarcoding of diatoms and phytoplankton for biomonitoring”, which will be a hybrid event, taking place at UB-ICTM and online, from March 29–31, 2023.
Lecturers from a leading EU institution, the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE, France), Dr Clarisse Lemonnier, Dr Frédéric Rimet, Dr Agnès Bouchez, and Dr Benjamin Alric will give lectures focused on DNA metabarcoding applied to diatoms and phytoplankton for biomonitoring.
We are cordially inviting scientists, students, and interested stakeholders to participate in this hybrid event where they will have a great opportunity to discuss state-of-the-art research in the field of DNA metabarcoding with our visiting experts from the BIOLAWEB project consortium.
Preliminary program:
Day 1 – Introduction to metabarcoding and Diatom Metabarcoding (I part)
Day 2 - Diatom Metabarcoding (II part) and Phytoplankton Metabarcoding (I part)
Day 3 - Phytoplankton Metabarcoding (II part)
A detailed program will be sent to registered participants subsequently.
The number of places for on-site attendance is limited. Registration for both ways of attendance is free and required.
