ICTM participates in a project funded by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons

ICTM participates in the international project "Detection of herbs and dietary supplements fraud using metabolomics approach" funded by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). ICTM participates in this project as the principal partner under the leadership of our colleague Dr. Dejan Godjevac. In the research so far, adulteration markers in oregano and chokeberry samples were detected using a metabolomic approach on different instrumental platforms (NMR, GC-MS, LC-MS, and HPTLC). Also, the presence of illicit substances in two dietary supplements was determined. Read more about the project on the page.

ICTM participates in project SP4LIFE of the program “NATO Science for Peace”

September will mark the end of the first six months of project „Smart Patch for Life Support Systems – SP4LIFE“ in which ICTM participates as the principal partner, led by dr. Marko Spasenović. The role of ICTM on the project is the development of flexible graphene-based sensors which will be used to monitor physiological parameters such as heart rate and breathing. Five partners participate in the project (two from Slovakia and one each from Serbia, Belgium, and N. Macedonia), which will last for 36 months, with a budget of 490,000 EUR.

ICTM joined COST Action CA20129
